But first joining previously announced artists Katy Perry, Kings Of Leon, Ke$ha, Kid Rock and Linkin Park will be Plan B.
After a massive year the UK rapper-cum-singer tops it off by being nominated for the prestigious Best Video award with his song Prayin’. And he’s also gained a reputation for great live performances, so he’s bound to be a highlight on the night.
Everyone’s favourite Colombian pop princess Shakira will also perform. She’s up for the Best Female award after a 2010 where her official World Cup anthem Waka Waka has crashed charts across the continent.
And today we can also tell some of the names hitting our glamourous event to hand out the prizes…. First up we’ve got Pauly D from the year’s biggest MTV show Jersey Shore.
Also attending will be MTV legend Jonny Knoxville, Disney starlet Emily Osment and pranksters The Dudesons.
And of course as we told you last week the Hollywood superstar in charge of the night proceedings is gorgeous Eva Longoria.
